About the podcast

Tara Mahoney and Kate Reeve are on a mission to increase youth voter engagement. In a weekly podcast, the two 20-somethings dig into an issue over a drink in an effort to make an informed decision on an upcoming Canadian election. “Undecided” episodes are often supported by a guest to understand the state of affairs in and to identify the challenges facing an economic sector, a public service, or a community.  By using language everyone can understand to navigate and distill the often dizzying task of reviewing political party platforms, the two co-hosts hope listeners will have the tools and the confidence to have more political conversations. “Undecided” aims to make politics accessible to everyone, because politics is about and for all of us.

Kate Reeve is a third year student at the University of Toronto, pursuing a degree in Near and Middle Eastern Civilizations. She runs a book club for preteen girls, is the Features Editor at The Varsity, and is currently working on her undergraduate thesis.

Tara Mahoney is also a third year student at the University of Toronto, pursuing a degree in Near and Middle Eastern civilizations. She is a recovering partisan and spends a lot of time in her kitchen as therapy.  She pays her bills by teaching yoga and building websites – it’s pretty chill.
